What data do we collect?
Email addresses — only if you voluntarily submit them via the scheme update signup or feedback form. You are never required to provide your email.
Usage data — collected anonymously via Google Analytics. This includes things like which pages are visited and how long people spend on them. No personal data is collected.
Feedback and suggestions — anything you submit via the feedback form or suggest-a-tool form on the site.
How do we use your data?
Email — used only to notify you when new tools go live or when there are important government scheme updates. No marketing emails, no third-party sharing.
Analytics — used to understand which tools are most useful and where we can improve the site. Helps us decide what to build next.
Feedback — used to improve existing tools and prioritise which new tools to build.
How is your data stored?
Form submissions are stored securely in Supabase, a cloud database with row-level security enabled on all tables.
We do not sell, share, or rent your data to any third party — ever.
Google Analytics data is stored and managed by Google and is subject to Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
Google Analytics uses cookies to track anonymous usage data across sessions.
BuddyTools does not use any other cookies — no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels.
Your rights
You can request deletion of any personal data we hold at any time.
